We are pleased to have Dr Mark Bodamer speak about how chimpanzee behavior compares to human behavior. Dr Bodamer is a comparative psychologist/ethologist from Gonzaga University now living on the island. He was involved with the Chimpanzee and Human Communication Institute at Central Washington University, where he researched teaching American Sign Language to chimpanzees. A consummate educator, for 15 years he led groups of students, colleagues and faculty to Chimfunshi chimp preserve in Zambia. Join the discussion on Sunday April 30 at the Mulis Center – 10:30 am.
